The questions we get asked most, answered without the sales pitch. If yours is not here, call (888) 633-7804 and ask.

Booking, pricing and coverage

How fast can you get to me?

For emergencies we dispatch 24 hours a day anywhere in Nevada and give you a real arrival window when you call (888) 633-7804. Standard bookings are usually same-day or next-day.

How do you price work?

Flat, per job, quoted before anything starts. You approve the number first. If we open a wall and find something unexpected, we stop and talk to you rather than adding it to the invoice.

Do you charge more at night or on weekends?

The price you are quoted is the price. We do not run a separate after-hours rate schedule that surprises you at 2am. Call (888) 633-7804 any time.

Which parts of Nevada do you cover?

Every city in the state. Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Reno, Sparks, Carson City and Elko are our busiest areas, and we reach the rural communities in between. Check the service area list for your town.

Do you handle commercial work?

Yes. Offices, restaurants, retail, warehouses, tenant improvements, three phase distribution and scheduled maintenance, usually booked outside trading hours so your doors stay open.

Can you install equipment I already bought?

Yes. EV chargers, generators, ceiling fans, light fixtures and smart devices you already own are all fine. Tell us the model when you call.

Do you pull permits?

For work that requires it, including panel and service changes, new circuits and generator installs, we pull the permit and meet the inspector.

Do you guarantee the work?

Yes, in writing, and you get a named contact rather than a general inbox. If something is not right we come back.

Can you give a second opinion on another quote?

We do, at no charge. Send it over and we will tell you whether the scope is reasonable and what we would do differently.

What should I do in an electrical emergency before you arrive?

If you smell burning or see sparks, switch off the affected breaker if you can reach it safely, unplug what you can, keep people clear of the area, and do not reset a breaker that keeps tripping. Stay on the line with us at (888) 633-7804.

Technical questions

How do I know if I need a panel upgrade?

Lights dimming when the AC starts, no free breaker spaces, tandem breakers stacked in, a fuse box rather than breakers, or an installer telling you there is no capacity for a new appliance. Read our guide on 100 amp versus 200 amp service for the full picture.

Can my panel handle an EV charger?

That is answered with a load calculation, not a guess. We total your existing load against the service size. If there is no headroom, a load management device is often cheaper than a service upgrade.

Why do my LED lights flicker?

Usually a dimmer built for incandescent loads that cannot regulate a much smaller LED load. Swapping to an LED-rated dimmer and matching the fixtures fixes most cases.

Is aluminum wiring dangerous?

Not automatically, but the terminations loosen over time and loose connections make heat. In homes from the mid-1960s to the 1970s it needs either remediation with approved connectors or replacement of the branch circuits.

How long does a whole house rewire take?

A typical single storey home runs about a week. Two storeys, plaster walls or difficult attic access add days. We phase it so you keep power in the rooms you are using.

What size generator do I need?

It depends on whether you want the whole house or critical circuits only, and on starting loads like a well pump or AC compressor. We size against the real load rather than selling the biggest unit.

Do you install equipment I bought myself?

Yes. EV chargers, generators, fans, fixtures and smart devices you already own are all fine. Tell us the model when you book.

Why does my GFCI keep tripping?

Either it is catching a real fault, often moisture on an outdoor circuit, or the device has worn out, which is common after years of Nevada heat and dust. We test the circuit before blaming the outlet.
